“THROUGH THE ROSE COLORED GLASSES”
Our New Artist
FARHOD JANOVICH
Appreciating synthesis of various objects, and ideas I gain understanding of the forms, their function, and influences perception of the forms and composition. I develop my own perception of the broken or irregular forms and their attraction.
I see beauty through the colors and objects of nature and human culture. I believe that artistic self-search is endless, and re-discovery is the prize for daring. An example: the series of White Noise, an open-ended project of abstract paintings. I am encouraged to share a positive outlook via Rose-Colored Glasses series of paintings initiated in 2024. I let spontaneity step in first helping with discovery and then with planning and conceptualizing.
For the last four years I have volunteered to direct the Tour de Arts show for Artworks Northwest, a popular annual show that takes place on the Red Mountain in West Richland. Volunteering at Allied Arts helps me to see how people connect with art, what decisions they make, and how they want to reflect themselves in art when they create and when they acquire.
I work in a few genres. Listening and reading about music composers, sculptors, creative writers, and painters I learn about treating artistic impulses.
